T.J. Maxx Has Amazing ways to save

With the Holiday’s approaching and Black Friday right around the corner, now is the time to start making those lists and planning your shopping trips, online or offline. T.J. Maxx is a popular store, though they don’t classify it as a discount store, their prices are hard to beat.

  • The best time to shop at T.j. Maxx is Wednesday morning for that is when the new markdowns begin, like they say the early bird gets the worm.
  • If you’re lucky enough to see a yellow price tag on an item, that means the price is a final markdown, grab it quick.
  • Alway’s check the clearance rack to see if the item you want missed a markdown.

  • If you find a damaged or imperfect item you can usually haggle between 10% -20% off the price.
  • You should always use the Amazon or Ebay app to scan for lower prices.
  • If you see a purple price tag it means that clothing item is straight from the runway.
  • The biggest savings are at the annual sales in January and July.
  • For stocking stuffers, they get new items every week, even Christmas week.
  • For pets, you can find pet supplies a lot cheaper than PetsMart and PetCo, T.J. Maxx is even pet friendly so you can shop with you favorite fur friend.

If you have any other savings tips feel free to leave them in the comments so everyone can save. Also, if you own a store that is having a Black Friday sale let us know so we can help promote it. Thank you for reading.

  1. The early bird always gets the worm, haha!
I’m one of them, totally love the feeling that I comes with exploring a store as early as it opens. There are no people there which makes it at least for me much more enjoyable and fun.
In this regard there actually is a theory about human energies, meaning that we each have one that emanates from us. The more these energies interact with other people’s energies the either more tired or more rested you feel depending on either you’re an introvert or an extrovert.
As of myself, I fall more into category of introverts, thus I also get tired less when visiting an almost empty shop. Probably that’s the reason why, I have no problem getting up.

I had no idea that at T.J. Maxx one could get a discount if the item is slightly damaged.
Thank you for the heads up, appreciate it.
Cheers and have A Great One!

  2. This is great, I feel like I got the “insiders” information on T J Maxx!  Thank you so much, because I didn’t realize Wednesday morning was the best time to shop, nor did I know anything about that yellow ticket items.  I am a person who absolutely loves a bargain, and I can’t tell you how happy I am to have come across your website in my searches.  Thank you so much.

  3. Great to know about the deals and discounts on damaged items.  I’ve been there a few times when I’ve gone to the States shopping.  That’s one great thing about going down to the US – you guys have such great clothes and prices compared to up here in the Great white north lol

Does TJMax deliver to Canada do you know?  I would love to be able to get some of those Black Friday deals without making the drive.

    Thanks for the awesome info!

  4. I never knew what the color code tickets meant and now I do. I haven’t shopped tj maxx since high school because I could never find the sales however it looks like I have been going at the wrong times. They have a wonderful home section that usually have very good deals.

Before reading this I didn’t have any saving tips or ideas, but I do now. I can’t wait until the holiday season to test out your savings theories.

    Thanks for sharing

  5. Hi

Thanks for the early bird notice.

I can not believe that it is that time of the year again.

I don’t know where I have been because this is the first time I am hearing about T.J. Maxx I have heard of TK Maxx.

As they say you are never too old to learn new things.

Anyway Black Friday in October, it reminds me that you can never be too prepared so thank you for reminding me to do my Christmas shopping and I will be back to take another look because there are so many products here .

I will also share this with my friends and family.

    Many thanks

    Jennifer
